Director Nexus takes family and privately held businesses from owner-only decision-making to a board that oversees the business, and teaches directors to read the numbers they are responsible for. Founded by Aleesha Webb, a bank director and former bank president who has served on a Federal Reserve advisory council.

Board readiness assessment of ownership, management and decision rights. A governance charter setting out the roles of owner, board and management. Director profile and recruiting criteria, an annual board calendar, and a specification for the financial reporting a director should see.
Full Board Build
Everything in Foundation, plus · 8 weeks
Committee structure, including audit and risk, with charters. Director scorecard, onboarding, and conflict-of-interest and related-party policies. Candidate sourcing and interview framework. Board book design, a first-quarter reporting package built from your financials, and facilitation of the first board meeting.
Seat at the Table
Ongoing advisory · 6-month minimum
Preparation for each board meeting and review of the board book. Chair coaching, post-meeting follow-through, and attendance at quarterly meetings. Available after a Foundation or Full Board Build engagement.
Each engagement is fixed-fee and fixed-scope, confirmed in a written engagement letter. You receive finished documents, not frameworks. Legal and tax matters remain with your counsel and accountant. All engagements are confidential.
